1. Who can ask
Anyone whose personal data we hold: a person who contacted us or asked for a quotation, an administrator of a customer business, or a guest of a sauna that uses Tigh Sauna. If you connected a Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp account to Tigh Sauna, this covers the data that connection gave us as well.
2. How to ask
- Email privacy@tighsauna.com with the subject line Data deletion request.
- Tell us the email address or phone number you used, and the name of the sauna if you were their guest, so we can find the right record.
- We confirm receipt within two working days and complete the deletion within thirty days. You get a written confirmation when it is done.

3. Data from Meta, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp
Where a business connected its WhatsApp Business account, Facebook Page or advertising account to Tigh Sauna, we hold the access token for that connection, the identifiers Meta issued for it, and the messages and message status updates that passed through it. Disconnecting the account inside the Tigh Sauna console revokes the token immediately and stops any further data arriving. A deletion request under section 2 removes the retained identifiers and message history as well.
If you remove the Tigh Sauna app from your Meta account or business portfolio, Meta tells us, and we treat that as a deletion request for everything that connection gave us. You do not need to email us separately, although you are welcome to.
4. Guests of a sauna
For a guest’s booking, payment and contact records the sauna is the controller and we are its processor, under the data processing agreement. We forward your request to the sauna the same day and help them complete it. Where the sauna instructs us to delete, we do so on the same timetable as above. Where you would rather deal with the sauna directly, their own contact details are on their booking page.
5. What we cannot delete straight away
Invoices, receipts and payment records are kept for the period Irish tax law requires, which is currently six years, and are then deleted. Anonymised statistics that can no longer identify you are not personal data and are kept. Backups are overwritten on their normal cycle, so a deleted record can persist in a backup for up to thirty days before it is gone everywhere.
